Every year, the Museum hosts a festival, celebrating fiber arts of all kinds. The event offers many opportunities to learn about the traditional manner in which textiles were produced before the advent of mechanized production. This means that fiber-bearing creatures, such as alpacas, sheep and angora rabbits are regular visitors to our event! Guests can witness, and take part in, the process of raw fiber being transformed into usable cloth, making FiberFest a wonderful event for families looking to learn about history through hands-on experiences. There are also many vendors, who sell superior quality handcrafted wearables, baskets, home décor, accessories and more, which are ideal for holiday gift-giving. Along with all of the fiber art fun, there is live music and food to add to the festival atmosphere. It is free for everyone to attend, as well as, admission to the museum on the day of the festival.
