Fans of the Julia A. Purnell Museum often wonder how they can help.
Well, there are a variety of ways you can help the Purnell Museum. One of those ways might just be right for you. You can support our work through volunteer work, donations and planned giving, either mailed or donated through our website.
If you want to volunteer your time and expertise, contact us to see in what ways you can volunteer. If you like physical activity, we often have projects that involve painting, sanding, building, putting together exhibits, or general upkeep of the place. You could serve as a docent as needed, work with our archival collection, or help with office related tasks involved in putting out newsletters and other mailings, or help with fundraisers. Or you could assist at one of our annual events, such as FiberFest or Heritage Arts for Kids programs, and others. Check out our calendar of events to see more of what we do. There is also always a need for certain supplies used at the museum or during our special annual programs.
